Post Strange AC issue

I have a 1994 940T. When I have the AC on and accelerate from a stop the AC cuts out from the vents. When the car reaches speed the air comes back out of the vents like normal. What should I take a look at to troubleshoot this problem?

The vents are controlled by vacuum. If you have the 940 SE with the 960 dashboard - a common failure is the floor vent servo. When it fails a vacuum leak is created and under acceleration there is not enough vacuum left to keep the face level vents open. Two choices - you can replace the floor vent servo or what I have done for many customers is simply disconnect and plug both vacuum hoses going to it. Floor vent servo is on the left side of the ventilation box down low.
