Default Stuck! Please help!

Alright guys, let me start by saying I own an '02 S60 turbo with an automatic tranny(not the geartronic). I wasted my tranny when I was trying to get it out after getting stuck in the snow, yes I know it was not the smartest thing I have ever done. With that said, I bought a used tranny off of ebay and swapped it out with the old one. I filled the transmission with volvo approved fluid and everything seems all good. That is until I drive it for a few minutes. After only about two miles the transmission stops engaging. I put it on a trailer and brought it home and once I get home and unload it, it works again. This has happened several times. The fluid level seems to be in the acceptable range when I check it before I leave the house. I understand the fluid expands and contracts based on its temperature, when the tranny stops engaging and I check the fluid level it says I have too much fluid. I have a copy of vadis and it tells me to plug my computer into the car and get the temp reading off the trannsmission temperature sensor. I do not have said cable. So I guess my questions are:

1.) is this a common problem caused by over filling?

2.) is there a plug on the side of the transmission somewhere I can remove and fill the tranny through so the excess fluid will spill out preventing over filling?

I really don't know. Is there a way you can check the computer for the transmission?

1) over filling could cause a lot of problems. eg. fluid leakage, drivebility,... but it really depending on how much u over filled. the best way to check it, is with engine running in normal operating temp. then check it with the engine running.
2) there is a drain plug under the tranny. 24mm.
note: are u sure you have the right trans. installed? since it is a used trans., did u replace the fluid?? is the tcm software (sw) updated?? did you do a reset adaptation to the trans??
