Smile Temperature meter

Hi! Friends,
My Volvo S60 2004 recently has something different with before. The needle in the temperature meter is in the middle just after I drive only a few minutes. Usually it is on the left of the middle. Is it problem or not? Please give me some suggestion. Thank you.

Sounds like it's cooling off??? If so, you may need a new thermostat. A cold engine wears faster and uses more gas.

I have an 03 s60 and my needle is just right(hair) of center(middle) I would say your fine...unless your needle is far right or far left I would say your thermostat is working just fine!!!1 just keep an eye on it to make sure.

I apologize. I thought I read that your needle was to the left of middle. Middle is where you want it and the sooner it gets there the better. Some cars take way to long to warm up. Mine will usually get to dead center in about 3 minutes. I drove my mother-in-laws Tarus and after 10 minutes of driving the needle still wasn't centered.
