1983 240 DL Auto LH fuel injection with 120K. The cargets poor milage ( around 12 city driving ) and lacks of power. Just check the Air Mass meter platinum wire resistance, reading is 4.4 ohm. Allowable limit per Bentley is 3.5 - 4.0 ohm. Is thisair mass meter bad enough that I have to replace it ? It is an expensive part($350) ! Bentley also indicated thatafter you replace the air mass meter , you need to check /adjustidle mixture with a dwell meter or Volvo special tool 9995280, is it necessary ?Ifyou have an experience with the air mass meter, please share that with me ..
