Volvo dealer told me that I only need to change the belt and not the water pump as Volvo water pumps are good???? can any one give me feed back please before the car goes to the dealer.

I would only change water pumps on the second timing belt change. (on the 5 cyl engines) The Aisin pumps are bullet proof - Belt and two bearings, but no water pump.

 

I agree. You're also pretty early for it anyway.
