Default Tire Recommendations

I need tires for my 850 and would like some recommendations. I need something that is decent in the snow and still handles pretty good. I know I can't have the best of both, so I know I will have to make compromises. I need something that lasts a decent amount of time also. These are for the stock 15" rims.

Thanks for the help!

I have heard good things about the Goodyear Eagle 1 tires. My boss has them on his wifes Maxima and loves them.

I'm a Michelin Man myself. They make tires for specific use so you may want to check the notes at www.DiscountTires.com. You can see what you want there, save about 35% (after shipping) and have them installed anywhere. I had mine installed at Wal-Mart for something like $7.50 per tire with lifetime rotation & balance.

If you really have to deal with snow for 4 or more months per year, you may want to pick up another set of wheels and get winter tires and swap them out after the season. I have seen some snow belts sold through some places if you only have to deal with snow occasionally.

I just purchased the mastercraft touring LSR all season tire. I have not been able to take these sneakers on long ride yet, but so far so good. From what I hear, these tires are great for New England. Hope it helps!
