Transaxle MOVING back and forth!
Hi Volvos! (rollers)
I've had a hard vibration in my '86 - 240 - wagon when I first start going in low gear. I put the car on jacks and had a buddy shift into gear while I lay down and watched the undercarriage. The drive shaft seems to be centered but the transaxle is MOVING forward - rolling up - when it engages the gears. I figure this has to be the worn rubber inserts in the stabilizing bars - rubber bushings. Is there a Volvo re-manufacture company that sells such bushings?
Also - my engine floods easily when it's been raining and cold all night. Why does it do this? What can I do about it? Thanks
