hi guys, just wondered if anyone could shed some light on this.
i just sold a 850(m reg)2.5 20valve inj engine on ebay. the guy who bought it has asked whether i have the engine management (ecu) as he has been told he needs it to do the transplant into his!!!! he has a 2.5 850 also but it is a 10valve enigne!!! what say you!!!!!!!!
help me out if you guys can as hes thinking of not paying unless i have it, which i don"t.... thanks all. just as a note,it wasn"t a t5...

 

If it is the 20 Valve yes he will need a 20 valve computer.

 

thanks matey, yeah ive sold him a 20valve, he has a ten valve, so im guessing hes stuck!!! if i was to find another 20valve ecu and gave that to him would it work.

 

Yes as long as it matches as far as like turbo or non turbo.
