volvo 850 power window

Default volvo 850 power window
volvo 850 the power window goes half way down its a 1995 850. would silicon spray on the seals help

I doubt it. Probably a motor or transmission problem. You will likely have to take the door panel off and see what's going on. I guess you are talking about a front window.

Thanks for the response. Yes it is a front window and the silicon spray worked -- at least so far!! Thanks again for the advice

So you are saying that the seals were stopping the window from going all the way down??? That should not be. Now you have silicone oil on your window?

If that worked, maybe your motor is getting very weak.
