I have the factory original 2007 Volvo GPS DVD in my S60 and I'm very unimpressed with this software. The streets aren't labeled, graphics are terrible, and seems to have difficulty calculating routes when you deviate from the preplanned route.

The company that makes the Volvo GPS software is called NAVTEQ and can be purchased from them for less then buying it from Volvo. NAVTEQ wants $200 for the DVD set for 2010. If anyone is interested here is there web site. http://www.navigation.com/

I am wandering before I spend the $200 on the DVDs does anyone have GPS software later then 2007 and has it improved? The biggest issue I have is that nothing is labeled so just that might make me get it.

 

Most of the time the gps software will show you the names of streets when you zoom in. There is also a setting in the software that allows you to select the option to have MORE INFORMATION. I do not have it so I'm just going off of basic GPS information, I have 3 gps systems.
