Hi I have a 2002 volvo s80 and was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase The black pilar posts, mine have began peeling and would like to order some new ones. I can find chrome ones but would like the original black. Thanks

 

What pillar posts are you refering to? On the doors? B pillar?

Ah I gotcha, so the b pillar area of the doors..... Bad paint! I have seen them flake or where it looks like its rubbing off..Easy fix!, You can either mask off the area around it and simply paint them with this stuff...http://www.duplicolor.com/products/trim.html

 

It's not paint. It's some kind of film they stuck on top. Mines doing the same thing but it's just too much of a pain to peel off and I don't feel like sanding.

 

It's a thin rubber like film.... I have seen a few S80's run thru the Auction here and whenever we bought one, we wet sanded with 1000 grit paper and then sprayed it with that duplicolor paint. Good as new.
