What do you think of Volvo colors?
Do 'brighter' colors (blues, greens, reds, etc) seem less 'authentically Volvo' to you? What are your thoughts on the more common 'neutral' color options (grays, whites, blacks)?
I've owned two Volvos - an 850T Wagon in Regency red ( a classic - I was considering going with the Traffic Ticket Red color but thought this was a more elegant choice and a gen 1 S40 in Pacific Blue. Both colors seemed to stay relevant.
As to other colors - whites and black both look great when the car is clean and buffed, not so much the rest of the time - particularly in Winter. Grays seems too muted. If you want conservative, just go with silver. There's a reason real estate agents tell you to repaint your rooms with gray when selling - it doesn't draw any attention to the walls... hmmm.

I only buy white cars so I'm not the best person to ask.
But..... I think Volvos look better with the nondescript colors. Do like Polestar blue on a hotted up S60 and I thought the C30 and 40 series cars looked best in "non-standard Volvo colors", but the SUVs and full size sedans wear white, silver, and black best. IMO
I find that white is more forgiving of dirt than most people think. Black is the worst. Did have a beige 1983 Cutlas Supre from 83 to 85. Not sure I washed myself, it only was cleaned when the dealer did something to it - and it always looked presentable.
