What does it take to localize a Volvo
I have a V50 (2006), I bought it in Sweden and I'm living in Switzerland. I'm thinking of selling it here, however I guess I would have to localize it, change the stereo menu language and get new manuals and so on. Does anyone know if there's more that should be done and if it is possible to do this?

RE: What does it take to localize a Volvo
It is certainly possible and done all the time. I believe for such a new car you'd have to do very little, if any, modifications. You can even sell it without nationalizing it, just advertize it "as is" and disclose the situation. The price you get, however, will be affected but that's the case even after you register it locally, so you may as well save yourself the trouble. A good place to start will be your local Volvo dealer, (for information purposes only).
