ENGINE MISFIRE
My V70 1998 WITH 2.4 NO TURBO STARTED TO MISFIRE AFTER DRIVING IT FOR ABOUT 20 MIN.
I checked the codes they were saying misfire cyl. 2 & 4.
so I changed the plugs,wire.cap and rotor.
no improvement. I went on a bunch of forums and found out alot of people have the same problem.
I found the solution.
take the dist. cap off, remove the rotor, pull the pulley of the cam. and change the seal behind.
when the engine is hot oil leaks out and shorts out the fire on cyl. 2 & 4. wich are at the botom of the dist. cap ( at 6 oclock).
