What Is An Interesting And Ususual Volvo?
For many years I have owned a 2001 Toyota Prado. It still runs like new and I won't sell it.
On the other hand I recently bought a 2001 S40 T4 for my son. I had not realised how nice, indeed luxurious Volvo cars are. This car goes like a cut cat. Fortunately my lad is a gentle fellow and I doubt he has pushed it yet beyond 130k (75mph).
So...let me just say that I previously owned a Ducati ST4 which has the 916 engine. That bike was glorious and I have a tear in my eye as I type. We parted ways on a corner.
I'd like a nice car. Something easier than the SUV to drive around corners and the rare long distance.
No motorways or freeways around here. Mountains and plains.
But yes, reliable. I used to take care of my vehicles but modern electronics etc defeat me.
I live in New Zealand so the market is limited. We get Volvos imported from Australia and Japan. What do you suggest? Probably smaller rather than large.
