Will 2003-2004 17" turbo wheel/tire combo fit on my natural aspired 2001 V70, with any problems?
I currently am running the 15" stock wheel/tire combo.
I found a set of wheels with new tires for $500.
I would imagine I'll be ok, but just thought I would ask.

 

As long as both are the same # of lugs and spacing, generally 5 x 108, and the offsets are similar there should be no problem. You may get some rubbing on full lock turns though.

 

aren't these basically the same car with different engine/different tire combo.
Is the suspension any different?

 

The suspension will be the same. You will get slight tire rub at full lock. The minor rubbing is very common on the cars with the 17's.

 

they will only rub like parallel parking then......

 

Or turning hard to get into a spot or making a u-turn.

 

great.......this should also help with performance in the corners as well.
My wife drives the V70, so she will prob never hear/see the rubbing.
235/45/17 is the standard size, right?

 

I believe it is the standard size.

I found tire rack has a nice tool as well for viewing tires and wheels on any vehicle as well.
