Default '99 S80 Rim / Tire Combo

I am looking to put a new set of aftermarket wheels on my S80. My questions are: Will 20" wheels fit? I Believe 19" is the largest I can go but not positive? Also does anyone know the bolt pattern and offset for this vehicle? Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.

20's will most likely rub. The bolt pattern is 5 x 108. The offset is different for different wheels. Most likely it is in the neighborhood of 41mm - 43mm however.

5X108mm is the bolt pattern.

And again 20's will probably rub a lot. 19's will rub at full lock for sure. Are you looking for Chrome rims because that is mostly what your going to find in 19" and 20" rims. Personally the biggest I would go is 18" rims and tires.

35-42 offset. Those are what the rims are showing on TireRack for a 1999 s80.

Again you need to check out these two threads. They will help you a lot when looking for parts.

Personally I would get these rims. They are from TireRack. DiscountTireDirect has nothing good for the s80.

O.Z. 35th Anniversary (18")

Borbet Type LS (18")

O.Z. Superleggra III (18" and 19")

O.Z. Superturismo GT (18" and 19")

O.Z. Ultraleggra (18")

Evolve also sells really nice rims.

EVOLVE S80 E7 (18" and 19")

EVOLVE S80 M7 (18" and 19")

Why not try to locate some S60R 18's?
I have seen them on a S80 and it looks SWEET. That car also had the black area on each door painted the body color which made it look even better.

OEM rims looks great too. They are just over played, IMO.

But you really don't see that combo on the S80's though.

Thanks everyone! I'm not sure if I will go chrome or not. I like the first rim pic you posted up there (OZ 35th Anniversary), that is a nice looking wheel. I saw on eBay there was a place that you could exchange your stock wheels in for another set of stock rims in chrome? Not sure if I trust places like that though? Thanks again.

So you don't think I can take the 24's off my truck and put them on? Just Kidding!! Once I decide what I am gonna put on there I will post some pics with the new wheels. Thank you all for your help and insite, you all are great!

Well if you move the lift kit from the truck to the Volvo then of course you can put the 24's on it.

Hey it can be done, anything is possible.

I saw an S80 at a meet with at least 19's if not 20's on airbags. Not my style rim because they were Chrome but it was a cool setup.

I'm liking the looks of these:

What do you all think?

Personally I don't like them. It is because I don't like chrome rims. Now chrome rims can look good, but I think they only truly look good on old muscle cars. I know I said I don't like chrome rims but I do think the can look good on old muscle cars just not on anything else.

Fair enough, Did you see my chrome rims on my "not so old" muscle car on cardomain?

Maybe this would suit your taste a little better? Although they are 20" and chrome

Hate to burst the bubble again but no. I don't like those personally. 20" is to big and they just aren't classical chrome muscle car rims.

Sorry.

No worries, you're not bursting my bubble, to each his own. 20" IMO sit perfectly inside the wheel wells of my model Mustang without any rubbing or anything. I love them and you're actually the first to say they didn't like them but again everyone has their own opinions and to each his own.
