RE: Where do you...
You could perhaps try BBB or a lawyer?

If you could provide the details of the case, we may be able to steer you to the right direction.....

RE: Where do you...
Oh sorry...I was looking for a Volvo of North America type thing...but I do not mind sharing...
I bought my car2 years old and about 6,000 miles on it. The previous owner bought thecar from that Rio Grande Valley Volvo dealership new...the previous owner had very good maintenance record on the car..he had everything done at that dealership..
There is no dealer inour town and the two nearest ones are the Valleyor San Antonio...both almost a 3 hour drive.
In augustI got a recall letter on the fuel sensor and the car was at about 13,000 miles. I am a teacher so the summer is better for me to deal with this stuff..
I call Rio Grande and nobody knows anything about the recall...then they say can they call right back to schedule the maintenance..i say Okay..I wait all day they never call back. I call the next day and try to ask about the recall again and possible getting the 15,00 mile maintenance.
They say oh we can't do the maintain that many miles out..and we don;t know about no stinkin' recall. I am like are you kidding me? If I drove a Ford escort ( and I did and got treated better)I expect the same kind of treatment..the guy tells me how did I thinkI rateI just drive a Volvo station wagon...this was the manager mind you...
The other day I was looking at my maintenance book from the previous owner and guess what? Rio Grande Vally had no problem doing maintenance on the car about 2,000 miles short of the scheduled maintenance year or mileage...
....and I took my car to The Volvo Center in San Antonio and they said right away "hey there is a recall on you fuel sensor...oh and can we wash your car for free??"
I want to take the licence plate holder on my car from Rio Grande drive over it with my "just a station wagon"...and send them a picture.....

RE: Where do you...
As a starter, please look up recalls on your vehicle at:
http://automallusa.net/2001/volvo/s60/recalls.html
Scroll down on the page and you'll find a list of Volvo vehicles so click on your Volvo.
Then, Volvo dealers MUST repair recalls at no charge to the customers, no question asked. This has to be done regardless of the age/mileage of the car.

RE: Where do you...
Thank you...I know I sound petty...but they were so rude...this is my first Volvo and trust me I went from a 7 year old Ford Escort ZX2..to this car..and yes at timesI act like a Beverly Hillbilly...but my friends own a car dealership and I know they never treated anyone like that.....Thank you again for being so kind...

RE: Where do you...
Wow I have dealt with several Volvo dealerships. I consider them all rip offs for the prices they charge, but never have they been rude. Just stick with the one in San Antonio cause they sound like a decent place. Plus a stroll on the River Walk while the car is being serviced is not a bad thing. I was there once and thought it was a pretty nice place.

RE: Where do you...
I am not sure why they are so rude..they are in the middle of nowhere...they should be really nice...[&:]
I agree San Antonio is nice unfortunately the dealer is in Alamo Heights in the flight path of the Airport.....~LOL~ But I will take that over RUDE any time....the other place services Jaguar and Land Rover..maybe they have snootier clientele than the nice Volvo folks...
