So I got a 1990 volvo 240 a few months ago and I'm trying to fix it up. When I got it one of the windows didnt work and the rest were sluggish and sometimes didnt work. Now only the right passenger works only if it goes down but not when it goes up.... (yea its stuck down) I tore the door panels off but the connections look ok and Im pretty sure theres power going to them so Im thinking its the motors. I was wondering is there any way that you can fix them?

 

The one that only goes one way is probably the switch.
The dead one, just test the motor first to see if it works separately, go on from there.
The slow ones, lube ALL pivot points and the tracks where the glass slides-evey time I get a Volvo I do this to all four whether they need it or not.
Keep in mind that the motors RARELY go bad.
