Just go ahead and replace the strut top bushes and bearings. I'd forgotten how much they improve ride quality and handling. My car had new everything but someone didn't replace the top bushings.
Replacing the bushings and bearings eliminated the harshness felt on small bumps and sharp edged bumps and really made the car feel new.
I've only ever replaced them on one other car in the past and had forgotten how much of a difference they make.
They're cheap and worth every cent!

Do you have a suggestion on how to replace them? I am looking into doing it and wondered if I could without sending it to the dealer.
