Default XC60 seat issue

I have a 2018 XC60 and have recently noticed an occasional movement from within the driver's seat backrest. It's like a popping sensation/slight movement and doesn't seem to be related to braking/cornering. I thought the seat may be loose but this is not the case. It feels like it's coming from inside the back of the seat. This is irritating as I'm now waiting for it to happen. There is some reference on-line to seat issues on older cars with a complex Volvo technical fix but not sure if this is the same problem. Anyone else experience this or have any knowledge of the issue? It would be very difficult for my local dealer to trace. Thanks.

Yes my 2015 xc70 does that also - might be related to the WHIPS system - where the hinges move to protect our tiny necks from a rear collision. Almost feels like there is an extra hinge in the seat back, I only feel it on the left side. A rare weird popping sensation. Pictures show a solid seat back frame with weird expanding hinges. Here's a GIF of those hinges at work protecting a neck. Or search for Volvo whips system.
