XC60 T6 2010 gas consumption, exhaust wear
Yep.mbought a second one.. the XC60 was intended to be a low cost winter vehicle solution (S60 T5 is too low for the snow conditions in Quebec _ they don't clear). But I say this vehicle, super clean,, drove it and bought it {was out of town visiting on a weekend so no pro inspection). Got under it for the first time. The exhaust hangers at the front are rooted right off. I think that means the exhaust is hanging from the flexible? Also the first set of flanges and gaskets are fitted as well. Questions:
* Have mechanic weld on new hangers?
*Your neat muffler system hanging solution?
* have mechanic cut off flanges (dualnexhaust, 4 flanges) and weld straight thru?
* weld on new flanges?
Other unrelated question;
" Can the thing that calculates fuel consumption be reset? If so, how,?
* how accurate is the faveragecuel consumption indicator, Mins 12+ liters/100nkm. The instantaneous indicator leads me to believe I"my doing better
- like 10-. I use the manual mode 70% of the time (much smoother than my s60's, v70's.?. Also using mid grade gas ($1.80/ liter!).. Any comments on what 8 should get in fuel consumption? 40% city, 60% highway (I use automic trans. on highway with cruise.. *nstantaneous consumption indicator seems to show lower consumption in automatic.
