Hi! I just traded in my beloved 2005 XC90 v8 w/Touring Package. We got a MDX which is nice but I am so missing my Volvo (it was falling apart and had many issues over the years- was definitely time to get rid of it) We have an older MDX that I can trade and I am now determined to get another XC90 (used) My problem is this: I LOVED how mine drove (light steering, drove like a car, wood grain wheel) but I know both the v8 and Touring package have been discontinued. I want a used one anyways- but what would be the most comparable? I am basically trying to duplicate my old one. I can live without v8 but I don't want sporty/bumpy/heavy ride. I also don't love the newer thick steering wheels. I am confused with all of the different models and engines. Don't even know what the R Design is?

I also loved the very comfortable seats and the tons of adjustments they had so I want that too...if you can tell me if I have to get V8 again (did Touring become something else?) or is there another option that drives similarly?

Oh meant to ask.. XC90's seem very few and far between. I am hoping that when the new model comes out this Spring- lots of people will trade theirs in and more will become available? Thoughts?
