I always thought my F150 would be a pretty good in a crash. One thing that got my attention was the location of the front airbag, on the XC90 it inflates in front of your face on the F150 it inflates lower and from the looks of the crash the dummy's head hits the steering wheel. (I'm a 6'2 dummy) If I showed the video to my wife she would never ride in the truck again.
Too bad Volvo hasn't made a pickup since the 1950's

 

Or you could perhaps buy an XC90 and force-covert it to a pickup....

Thats why i own a Volvo...As i have stated before, they are
bitches of cars to own,(but i love em) they have little ****ley problems,
they are more expensive to fix and maintain...
But they are safe.
With three kids to ferry around need i say more.
