Hey, i'm new here. I have a new 2007 s40 volvo 2.4i and need some extra power, do you know if there is any intake, exhaust or some thing you can make to increase the hp and not spend to much money?

2. What is your Hp goal?

3. Have you done a complete STAGE ZERO on your car?

4. Have you installed a BOOST / VAC gauge in your car yet?

5. You really need to search before asking a broad based question like this. There is a ton of info on this website and other Volvo forums.

I will be nice and help you with some Volvo aftermarket websites, which if you had searched this forum and others you would find links for. Or even GOOGLED Volvo aftermarket sites.

Search for these websites, and then come back to ask questions based on what you found.

Are you turboed or NA? If your NA don't even bother doing engine upgrades, stick with suspension and exterior interior mods. If your turboed a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" catback system will give you a nice sound and good performance. You will see most gains from the downpipe. However your turbo and exhaust manifold are married together I believe as in one peice so it will be hard to do. An ECU upgrade will give you a nice boost in power too.
