Default S60 wood trim - trying to clean

The wood trim seems to have developed a bit of a film that I haven't been able to wipe off. The S60 is an '05 and I just bought it this past week so its had some time exposed to fingerprints and oil/makeup/etc, but does anyone know what I can use to polish/clean the wood console?

Try equal parts of white vinegar and hot water. Just damp and ring out a soft sponge. wipe down trim and rinse with warm water on damp soft cloth. Do not soak trim, just damp enough to clean. Do not let water set on trim, as always try on hidden part of trim. I clean all my wood trim this way, and have for years.

If it's foe wood. Try the above then use some isopropyl alcohol and water 50/50.
