Default Trying to put a wood shift **** on my 1996 960

So ever since I've had my 1996 960, I've been trying to find a wood shift **** for it like the ones on the 1997-1998 S90's, but havent been able to locate one that I can afford..needless to say, I will not be buying one from the dealer! I've located 2 of them at a junkyard that I frequently visit, one from a 1997 S70 and one from I believe a 2002 S40. They looked like they would both potentially would work, but when I tried to put them on, nither of them seem to work. Basically what Im asking is if theres any way to make either of them work, or does anybody know where I could get the factory shift **** from an actual S90?

I would get a S90 ****. I found one at a place called Volvo's Only. They have lots of S90's and 960's. 501-849-2484.
