Hi, my 1992 Volvo 240 3rd row seat latch broken off and I don’t know how to fix it. My boyfriend fabricated a piece to put in place of the plastic but the part that pops or screws won’t let me put a new screw in.

I’m trying by to post a new thread about it to ask for help. Itbb can offers me to do one here but not in the site. Maybe I’m not doing it right or maybe it’s broken. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Sorry for confusion, from your pictures is clear that you have had problem with row seat latch , and as I have said ,
my problem is the headrest folding strap, as per picture.
​​​ Problem is,to remove seat back panel ,to reach headrest folding mechanism to hook new strap.
Thanks for your help,if there is procedure how to remove seat back panel, it will solve the problem.
