Hello, glad to finally call myself a volvo owner. I picked up a 97 855R for probably a bit too much money. Seems to have been taken care of mechanically, with a decent interior.

My plan is to do the preventative maintenance on the engine (timing belt, transmission and coolant flush, oil change and spark plugs) first, and then overhaul the suspension.

I have clunking at every corner, I'm just debating whether I should go ahead and replace the spring seats and strut mounts to get rid of the noises and harsh ride while I save money to replace the rest of the suspension? It might be 4 months or so before I can do that, so I'm thinking it might be good, even though I really like the idea of doing everything at once. What do you think?
