I may be wrong here but you might not own a Volvo. I don't know of any Volvo pickup trucks. Please post a picture of it.

ok, i'll give it a go not too good on computers, seems to have worked ok, guy reckoned volvo made some 200s and some in the 700 series, i'll admit it does look like an estate cut up but i'm collecting it at the weekend and can check it out properly, thanks kev..

Hello Kev,

Looks like the truck needs a full restoration, but it may be very interesting of a project.

I wonder where you can find the parts for the front-end. I am not sure how it looks either, but you could perhaps search on-line to see what's available. I did a search on my own and I couldn't find anything other than some modified Volvo 200 pickup (severed, welded, riveted, glued.....).

I may not be help in this case, but if I find something I'll post it.

Cheers,

JPN

Hi JPN, Thanks mate but all the parts come with it, anyway parts are easy enough to source round here, I've also tried a web search and only came up with cut up estate versions. I am going to try the volvo factory on Monday to see if they can turn up anything on the chassis number here's hoping,
thanks for the replies guy's, "we are not alone" Kev...

This must have only been supplied to the Europe region.

Oh well, turns out to be a 260 estate cut down,,,,, but lets stay positive, its OK in all the right places inner wings, chassis etc but is missing some parts so if anyone knows where their might be an early 80s 265 estate around the Nottingham area usable for a donor i would appreciate a shout
been another long day in self employment land so I'm of to bed, will let you all know better after a detailed inspection Kev............[&o]

does it still work? from the picture I could see that the truck parts seems to be in a bad shape. are you planning on restoring this old baby?
