HA. I've seen that pic before. I think that competes with the Redneck straight pipe in the off topic section or where ever I posted that.

Wheels, hood, headlights/cornering lights, grille all slightly different. S70 had slightly softer rounder lines.

VOLVO 850

Sedan

Wagon

Sedan

VOLVO S70

Some examples of each above to show you the differences. If that doesn't do it, I will post more. Also I own an S70 and previously owned an 850... So I should know the difference.

Um... wow. That thing is... wow. I only hope that the car was badly wrecked, and would have otherwise been on its way to the salvage yard. Otherwise... I'd cry.

Reminds me of a guy I know that's into old, unreliable European cars, such as Fiats and Yugos (particularly Yugos... he has several rare ones, including a Yugo convertible, an automatic transmission one, and a fuel- injected one with A/C (yes... there were only a couple hundred of each of those) Anyhow, he took a Yugo and made a pickup truck out of it... cut the hatch section and roof off, up to the front seats, built a rear wall and added a plexiglass back window, and off he went. According to him, the car was actually STIFFER with the mods. Yes, he's a weird guy.
