2000 S/80 Battery Drain
I purchased a 2000 S/80 2.9L in Oct 2013. In the past two weeks I have started having issues with my battery dying on a daily basis. I have had the battery and alternator checked. Both are good but was told I have a drain on the battery. I imagine it could get very expensive having a mechanic trying to find the drain. I was hoping for some suggestions as to what the problem could be or how I could remedy this myself. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Check that your glovebox and trunk lights are off when not opened.
Also that the interior lights are either set to off or do switch off automatically 30 seconds after you leave the vehicle parked.
