Hello everyone, my name is Rob. I'm a gear head/car enthusiast and just purchased a 2000 volvo s40 1.9t with 158k on the clock today. I cant wait to pick it up tomorrow and start tinkering on it. My experiance is with dsms. I've owned two of them; 1990 talon fwd turbo 5 spd and a 1990 eclipse awd 5 spd. Both were mildly modified, basically I got them to mid to low 13's with very few mods. With the volvo I need to stay reliable and safe because its going to be my daily driver; basic boltons, full turbo back, chip, 14t turbo, 550cc injectors, tranny cooler, evo fmic, and a safe boost level. Not all at once but over the course of the this year. Where I work we have a plasma cutter, mig welder, tig welder, stick welder, and a pit to work on the ride. Hmmm, should i attempt to biuld a custom tubular header?

Just got back from picking up the volvo. Of course with my luck a check engine light popped up when I drove it back and a service light too. Going to hook it up and see what code I'm throwing. Other than that it drove awesome on the highway. I didnt take it past 60mph, wanted to leave as much load off the engine as possible due to the code. I felt soooo dumb not knowing how to pop the gas door open, thankyou google.com for saving me,haha.
