I am new as a member of this site but I have used it for years. I have owned numerous Volvos thru the years. My latest is a 2002 v40 34000 miles on it. This is my favorite one as I haven't owned a turbo before. I started having problems with slow starts and the dreaded check engine light along with a gas odor. After checking the forum I found it to be a leaky fuel pressure regulator. Thanks to everyone who helped me diagnose and treat the problem. Being low on cash I picked up a used one from the local pick and pay. Normally I wouldn't buy this part used but no cash. The repair worked great and I am back on the road. I called the local dealer just to get a price. Their price was 630.10 gulp mine was less than $18it pays to do it yourself but the dealer is a ripoff. New the part is a little over100 online work tme 20 minutes. Buyer beware of pirates
