This S80 T6 is enjoying a top notch Transmission Rebuild now.

Next is the PCV kit install.

While I have read previous posters claiming to have found the need to remove Alternator, AC compressor, etc, I just want to add a reminder that this is unnecessary work. A wobble-head socket on an extension is all that is needed to remove the hard to reach bolt head (on the pcv oil box, under the left end of the exhaust manifold).

After much investigation, including notes from DIY'ers who prefer to clean and replace individual PVC system parts - it is best to replace the entire PVC System Kit.
During the process the block port holes can be cleared out properly
and fresh O rings can be added in the injector fuel rail and other places as needed.

And ... the Throttle body is now at hand for a good cleaning and fresh gasket.

My newly acquired S80 T6 could achieve 500,000 kms. with full regular maintenance. Do not cheap out by just cleaning this PCV system. You will regret it.
