RE: 2005 S60 2.5T Wheel Question
Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it helpful & enjoyable.
When you wish to post a thread on technical questions, please do a bit of in-forum research as you can often find answers.
The S60 forum would be the best place for you to post technical questions, as there are S60 owners there. If that doesn't work out for you, try posting threads in the General Volvo Chat.
Good luck,
JPN

RE: 2005 S60 2.5T Wheel Question
Hi Red Seal 1.
Ican give youSOME advice - DON'T go down the road of fitting 18" wheels, and ULP tyres.
They're as noisy as my wife, and give a ride as hard as her heart, and in addition, you're lucky if you get as much mileage out of them asshe gets out of a pair of shoes. Ihad my new S80 factory-fitted(and at great expense) the self-same wheels/tyres, and eventually, I binned the whole kit and caboodle, and bought new 16" alloys, and 235 x 55 tyres. It is my personal opinion, that at design stage, the optimum sizes were a max of 17" wheels, and unless you want to jar your fillings loose, and also shell out muchas dinero every year, stick to the less-flashy, but SENSIBLE option. Happy Volvoing. Mike from Murcia (ex-Pat Brit).
