hello all. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the Volvo fam.
I have a question. im purchasing a 2006 volvo s80 for a cheap price. But there is one thing that is making me nervous. when you start car and leave it running for a few min. the oil light wilI flash off and on and say pull over with caution (or something of that sort).and oil indicator symbol will blink orange and red. is this something serious, or just a sensor? car runs good besides that. I drove it for about 30min.

Likely means there is sludge in the oil pan due to poor maintenance.
