Well looked after, and serviced S60 with 98k on the clock, suddenly develops a strange problem. All electronics on the instrument panel and info display which houses the satnav, goes dead, and none of the electronic or electrical components function. Car is dead, cant use central locking, cant open boot, and car wont start. After fiddling with battery, instruments light up again, but the time in the display indicates the time the instruments went dead. Then after a while the correct time is displayed and the car starts. Volvo dealer checked all contacts on battery, and main cabling, upgraded the software to the latest version. The problem remains. Any similar issues, and a way to resolve? I am in South Africa.
