740 GLE

I have two question....
What is the average mpg on 740 non turbo 2.3 city& hwy ?

Is it possiable to get more horse power from this little four banger, let say by targeting the air & ignition ?

I don't think you could pull very much horse power out of it. You might be able to install a cone filter to get 1 or 2 out of it.Thats about it.

Tech is right. These motors are not meant to be modified. They were built to be very reliable and last for many years. Enjoy your car and keep it running smoothly.
