8/9/10 1st time Volvo owner
Just purchased a 2007 S40 T5 AWD. I have a 1986 Saab 900T that I have had since 1987. I throw that in as my Swedish credentials. The Volvo is for my daughter. She survived without a scratch from an accident (a 17 year old ran a stop light and t-boned my daughter's car) which totaled her 2001 Mustang GT.
Anyway seems like a pretty neat car. Hope we have purchased well. We had to buy a car in a hurry. Normally we are the car shoppers that drive the dealers crazy with the amount of time we take.
Down the road I wouldn't mind modding the S40. Is there much to do with bolt on stuff. I had the Mustang's rear end changed to a 3:73, put a performance intake on it and it had a cold air intake and reprogrammed shift points rev limits, fueling, timing etc...
