Hi all, I'm new here, just bought my first Volvo last week, 2001 V70 2.4T. This forum looks very nice and informative, look forward to spending some time here.

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear you find it helpful.
Be sure to follow scheduled maintenance for your V70, and NEVER neglect on the timing belt whose replacement interval is every 70,000 miles or 5 years.
Also, check out the recalls and if not done yet, have an appointment at the dealer and have them fix them. Recall items are fixed by the dealer, free of charge to customers.
