my 240 was running fine then all of a sudden I had a rough start with a little shake. it went away and then the next day the car would start run fine for 10 seconds or so then stall. I feathered the gas to keep it running then took it down the road and it felt like it was skipping real bad I could not accelerate or it would just die, barely made it home at 5mph. checked cap, rotor, fuses to assure pump was coming on, disconnected each injector and each would cause it to run rougher indicating that they are at least working. any thoughts fuel filter maybe??? cap, rotor, plugs, wires were done 2months ago so I doubt its that. car has 268k been a great car and reliable until now. I did notice that the air intake where it connects to the throttle body looks pretty cruddy inside oil sludge could have this messed up the TB and cause this kind of problem?

any input would be greatly appreciated. most of you have owned Volvos much longer than I but so far I am impressed with them and glad I tried out the 240
