have just bought my xc70 2o59
Which doesn't appear to have bluetooth
Was wondering if I changed the head unit for one with bluetooth would the phone buttons and microphone on in infotainment system work.
also would I need to change the infotainment screen

Sorry, not that simple. Most ICM's (infortainment control module) are coded to the VIN number of a specific car. You could ask xemodex if what you propose would be possible. The Microphone is above your head also. For Earlier cars such as yours Volvo sold a generic kit adapted to the Volvo sound system. I've installed many parrot Bluetooth kits in Volvos years ago - not sure if they are still sold either.
