So I went cheap. I purchased a HIMBOX from amazon for my 2010 xc90R.

I have tested the unit on my PC and it streams bluetooth from my phone to the PC without issues.

The 3.5mm jack works if I connect my phone to it directly to it.

My issue is when trying to stream audio from the phone to the HIMBOX via the 3.5mm. It will do it for a second and then cut out. Almost like the amp is not seeing a signal. If I pull the 3.5 out of the connector and slowly push it back in, it connnects for a brief moment and cuts out again.

Is there something special that I am missing? Again;
phone to 3.5 = OK.
Phone to HIMBOX to PC = OK
Phone to HIMBOX to Volvo = NO Sound.
