I just purchased 2 inexpensive Volvos. 1982 240 DL Wagon AT and 255k for $400 for Teen 1 and a 1991 240 DL 4dr with 130k for $350 for teen2. Got my hands greasy for first time on a car for a while. Had lots of 60s~70s 140s in late 70s. Still same old cars with a bit more computer stuff. Got a Chiltons and Haynes at local Half Price books for each of them to read and introducing them to the items needed int their car and safety tips. Wish me luck.

Nothing wrong with getting greasy every once in a while.
