Hi everyone
l was just coming off slip road on to A1 when car cut out totally no warning!! No hazard lights. It took a minute or so to restart. It's frighting. Car dash said reduced engine proforma nice. Any ideas . It done it 5 times now? Thanks

 

something threw the car into "limp mode". Possibly a problem with the alternator, voltage regulator or the battery. Try measuring battery voltage and alternator voltage at idle to see if you get 12.6V with the engine off and 14V or so with the engine running. If you get below 12V with the engine off, time to replace the battery.
