Can't get into my 2001 volvo v70xc after battery went dead. Help.

So l just bought the volvo v70xc 3 days ago. Left the park lights on overnight and the battery is dead. The key fob or key won't unlock the doors to get in to get to battery. How do l get in my own car? Thanks Bob

did you call a locksmith? they should be able to open with a jimmy that goes in via the window seal.

I was hoping not to spend 70 dollars to get in a car that the battery went dead. I have the key's. Are they mean't to do this? If so why?

well the metal key should pop open the door whether the FOB is powered or not. are you saying you can't open any of the doors or trunk with the keys?

Yes

The back has no key lock. The drivers side is only way lock on car. The main key turns lock but it will not unlock door. Yesterday l used the main key to unlock the door. Opened right up.
