2022 XC90 Insignia Recharge with iPhone 12 running IOS 15. When use voice control button to send text, get message "There is no connection. Please try again later," even though the phone is connected and I can receive texts and use same button to initiate phone call. This happened previously but I do not remember the resolution. Called Customer Service Center and they told me to call the dealership. True story.

 

I’ve had the same issue where my iPhone is connected through Bluetooth. I can receive messages but I just cannot voice text a reply.

The crazy solution to this issue is to turn on your Hotspot. I don’t know why that is the case but it seems to work. It makes no sense to have to turn this feature on for this to work. I hope Volvo fixes this problem.
