Car won’t start after
It started when I turned my AC on in my car.. was driving fine. Than noticed when I would push on the gas it was like the car was hesitant to drive. Turned AC off car started making weird noise like metal kind of sound when I pushed on the gas. Than smelt like it was overheating. I had only water in the resivore and car was smoking just a little I think because of that than my oil light came on blinking so I got a thing of oil , and continued to drive it was fine for a while than my car was slowing down and car just shut off. Checked oil theee was more than enough and filled the reservoir with water back up and it didn’t wanna start. Displayed a low power mode and low battery sign. Next day car still don’t wanna start it turns over but it stays turning over like I’m holding key trying to start it and just won’t turn on. The turning over sounds weird tho not a normal crank. Thought maybe a blown head or hopefully something simpler ! Helllpp please . Also note i was cranking it a lot of times to try and turn it on so maybe that messed up something to. I can post videos and pics if needed for more info
Blown head would show a few things - any sign of water in the oil or oil in the coolant? Is the timing belt/serpentine belt intact? What is the battery voltage? Reason for my odd questions is Its possible your AC compressor locked up and damaged the serpentine belt - which would lead to no water pump / overheating, and no alternator which would give a low voltage warning. If you over heated, you may have warped the head and have a compression leak. Next step is to check the serpentine belt, check for any mixing of coolant/oil, then if you have some skills, do a compression check. If you heard metallic sounds, that could have been something internal to the engine - any knocking sound when it cranks over?
