Can anyone point me toweard a good source for repairing my 1983 DL dashboard? I guess that a cover is the only practical solution.

 

your best bet would prolly be to start with a dash cover. i got one off ebay for 27 dollars but you can get one for less. i have also noticed that some people (not many) sell complete dashes that are like new. most have small cracks but are in better shape than your probably is (i have a 1991 240 and despite the fact that it was and is cared for very well, cracks seem to come up from nowhere) off of ebay, you will probably pay starting at 60 bucks for a decent dash replacement.

 

Do you have any suggestions for gluing parts of the dashboard back on? What happened is right under the glove box that piece came off -- it is all intact with no cracks or anything -- just has to be put back on.

All my mechanic would say is don't use super glue! Thanks for any help.
